What the dashboard shows
Every chart is derived from your own transactions — months, categories and cards are read out of the data, not configured by hand. Multi-select filters, merchant search, and click-to-filter on any bar, slice or segment.
Monthly spend trends
Total spend and transaction volume per month, plus a running cumulative total across the period.
Category breakdown
Category share overall, how each month splits across categories, and the trajectory of your top categories over time.
Merchant analysis
Your top merchants by spend, with merchant names normalized so the same store doesn't show up five different ways.

Download a statement from your bank
Almost every bank and credit card lets you download your transaction history — today ExpADa reads the CSV export they all offer. That file is all it needs; you never hand over online-banking credentials.

Confirm the columns
Layouts differ per bank, so ExpADa detects date, description and amount and shows you a preview to confirm — including statements with separate debit/credit columns or no header row at all.

Explore your spending
Charts and the transaction table populate immediately. Add more accounts anytime — they merge into the same history rather than replacing it.
Your data stays yours
Spending history is about as personal as data gets, so the design keeps it narrow:
- ✓No bank credentials. ExpADa never connects to your bank. It only reads statement files you choose to upload.
- ✓Private to your account. Transactions are stored in a Postgres database with row-level security, so queries can only ever return your own rows.
- ✓Not sold, not shared. There is no advertising, no analytics profiling and no third-party data sharing.
- ✓Delete anytime. Remove an imported file and its transactions go with it.
